Corporate Yoga
Bring Yoga into your office! Talk to your HR rep, manager or boss. I can come to your office and teach classes in the morning, lunch hour or after work. Yoga in the conference room, show room, cafeteria, roof top or where ever you have space! This is a great way to unwind and de-stress, strengthen work relationships and become more efficient employees. These classes can be hour long sweat fests or a 30-45 min mix of light stretching with breathing exercises and meditation. You choose!

Pre-Natal Yoga
Being pregnant changes the practice of yoga. It may be difficult to walk into an open level yoga class at any given studio. Modifications can be helpful, but Pre-Natal Yoga will specifically design a class that enhances the experience of being pregnant. Studies have proven that staying active during pregnancy is a great idea! Pre-Natal yoga can help you find a gentle exercise practice while pregnant, nurture your pregnancy and even prepare you for birth! Ask Emily about private pre-natal classes. Or you can always gather a group of your pregnant friends and book a private group class!

Private and Semi-Private Lessons
Busy work schedule? Studio times don't work for you? Or maybe you just get distracted by practicing in a large group. This is a great way to get a solid practice and work on specific goals. Or to build a foundation for your practice as a beginner. Whatever the case maybe, private lessons can be tailored to your needs. If you'd like company or want to share your practice with a partner or friend, Semi-privates can be arranged! Locations available in Lower Manhattan. It is possible for me to travel to you as well!

Bio
Emily has been practicing Yoga for over 14 years. She completed her 200hr training with the Atmananda Yoga Sequence and Mini Yogi's certification in 2009. She teaches a Vinyasa style class blended with pranayama and focusing on alignment to help students turn their attention inward using their physical practice. This helps people be comfortable in their bodies physically and spiritually. She hopes everyone leaves her class breathing a little easier and standing a little taller. Her goal is for people to see the benefits of Yoga not just for physical exercise but in day to day life off the mat. Emily is proactive about keeping up with her own Yoga practice and is furthering her studies as a Yoga teacher by apprenticing at Jai Yoga Arts in Brooklyn with Ella Luckett. She hopes to continue learning how to make yoga accessible to everyone and keep her students at peace and injury free. She is also currently working on her Master's in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Herbology at Pacific College. Emily is registered with the Yoga Alliance for 200hrs, Trained in Pre-Natal Yoga, CPR certified and is a Reiki Level III practitioner.

Emily was also in a Sonic Youth video for all of 2 seconds. See her at 00:28 ish.
